Viora is engineered and maintained by SVUI Labs - dedicated to building sovereign, private, peer-to-peer real-time communication software and elegant user experiences.

What is SVUI?

SVUI stands for Sourajit Vishan User Interfaces.

Founded by Sourajit Karmakar and Vishan Karunaratne, SVUI Labs was established on the conviction that essential communication tools should be fast, beautifully crafted, and fundamentally private. Instead of routing personal conversations and video feeds through corporate data centers, surveillance pipelines, or proprietary cloud relays, we engineer systems where users own and control their communication directly.

We are software engineers committed to building transparent, high-performance systems and intuitive user interfaces that put privacy first.

Architected Viora’s native Android client, custom WebRTC audio/video pipelines, hardware encoding adaptations, and the zero-state Rust signaling server.
